yeah i got the same a few weeks ago. it said that he had signed a few to "keep fans happy" but that he's charging now. kind of stupid, if you ask me. they were most likely his real signatures, but the letter has terrible spelling and grammar, so it seems like he or whoever wrote it doesn't really care. it was pretty much a letter of complaint.

Got letter from Boog Powell today that he no longer signs TTM.That is not entirely true, as I found this posted on another site today:

"Sorry to inform you that the 1970 AL MVP has stopped signing TTM. He is returning your cards with a letter informing you that he has set up a mail-in/order opportunity with a dealer in Maryland, DugoutZone sports collectibles. They will now be coordinating the two mail-in opportunities he has arranged with them a year. They will also be selling his items year round. If you wish to learn more go to www.dugoutzone.com."

I suggest going to Camden Yards to his BBQ, since he reportedly signs during the games there w/ a reasonable sized waiting line.

I passed, and I guess they figured out after 7 months that I wasn't sending any $$$ so they sent my cards back.

Pau Gasol 0/2 cards...return the cards unsigned, but also sent a letter. It didn't mention ANYTHING about not having the time to sign or anything like that. It was basically a blog entry about his summer that he's been having and all. He did thank me for the encouragement and whatever...it's just a mass letter, nothing handwritten. At the bottom it is signed by him, but I believe it is 100% a copied signature and nothing real. I wish he was still with the Grizzlies--you know, when he used to sign all the time REALLY fast and he'd sign everything, instead of now where it is getting harder and harder to get him TTM.
